About the Teacher
BIG BAD WOLF
Use the design process to solve a problem
I will design and build a house for a little piggy that can stand up even during a strong wind.
Someone who designs a solution to a problem (you)
What we are trying to solve (a house that can hold in a strong wind)
Our idea, our design, our answer to the problem (our house)
What kind of house will work best?
Is it a house that is...
Square? Circle? Round? Big? Small?
What else might make the house stronger?
Draw a picture of what your house will look like. What materials will you use?
If your house isn't perfect, no worries! Just have fun.
With a parent/guardian, test your design. Blow as hard as you can on your house. Does it stay up?
Ask your parents to help you test it with stronger winds.
